WEM Winter/ Spring 2026 Bible Study

Please join us starting Wednesday January 28 for WEM's Bible study. Our winter/spring semester will run from January 28 - April 29, 2026. This group meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11AM in the Family Life Center, room 204. The room is open at 9AM for early arrival & social time. Zoom is offered as an option if you wish to take part virtually. This semester we will be studying “Finding the Kingdom Within: A Look at the Parables of Jesus”. Our curriculum will be created and taught by Senior Pastor Kim Burke. So, there is not a book you need to buy for the class. However, we will have Bible reading & homework assignments each week. Please join us for a lively discussion each week as we explore this curriculum with Pastor Kim. Invite your friends to join us too. Remember, you do not have to be a member of FUMC-Boerne to take part in WEM. Creative Faith is a space to build community through fun activities and new skills. Come decompress, create, and nurture your faith in a relaxed, welcoming environment. - starting 2/25, Why Did Jesus Have to Die?: This thoughtful & approachable study explores the cross, God’s love, & what Jesus’ death means for our lives today. Join Pastor Kim during Lent as we ask honest questions, grow deeper in faith, & walk together toward Easter.

Churchwide Work Day

March 28, 2026 from 10:00am - 4:00pm CDT

Interested in enjoying some fresh spring air & getting some exercise? We are hosting a “Clean Up The Green House Property Workday” on Saturday, March 28th, from 10-4PM. The work will entail raking & bagging leaves, cleaning up trash, trimming fence lines, dismantling garden beds, moving garden soil to low spots in yard, cleaning the labyrinth, removing brush, building exterior stairs for the West door, & replacing handrails on the front ramp.
