Common(s) Wellness Summer Nights: Yoga + Sound Bath

Join us for a restorative and connected evening! Hosted by Common(s) Church in the East Village, our Wellness Series is meant to bring our community together and make healing accessible to anyone who needs it. Mocktails and refreshments will be provided.


DIRECTIONS

Upon arrival, you will walk up a small ramp to a set of double doors with a key pad. Dial Suite #300. Walk up the stairs (or take the elevator to your left) to the third floor.


PREPERATION

We recommend you leave ample time to find paid street parking, sign the liability waiver, and settle in for class. Meters are free after 6p. Limited supplies will be available, and bring your own (optional) for extra comfort: a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, eye covering, blocks, and a strap. We look forward to having you soon!


BATHROOMS

From the church space, walk back out into the third floor lobby and bear left down the hallway. The bathrooms are on your right-hand side.

Rosemary JaQuay

"My mission is propelled by my passion- To educate, inspire, and empower people along their path to wellness. You will be met with presence, compassion and the intention for your highest good. It is my honor to serve you with the utmost respect for your safety and comfort."

Rosemary has been a student and practitioner of the healing arts since 1998 obtaining certifications in the following: Certified Massage Therapist, Holistic Health Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, ACE Certified Personal Trainer & Behavioral Change Specialist, and Qigong Instructor. Other areas of practice include Healing Touch (Level 4), Gentle Somatic Yoga, metabolic training, nutrition, Cognitive Therapy, NLP, meditation and mindfulness, sound healing and breathwork. For a number of years Rosemary has focused on holistic health education including curriculum design, classroom instruction and management as well as facilitating and leading group workshops and creative pursuits while serving individual client sessions with a passion for creating a safe and sacred space for connection and healing.


Melissa Marcy

RYT, LAc, DiplOM

Melissa's yoga journey began with a VHS tape in her parents’ living room at the age of seventeen. For over thirty years, she has practiced different styles in and out of studios, and finally joined Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2023. She brings to her classes a heart-centered blend of eastern philosophy, western education, and lived experience. In addition to teaching yoga, Melissa is a California Licensed Acupuncturist, nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, and mom of two adult daughters.
