Calling All Men! As we journey to live like Jesus more and more in 2025 we will have three different opportunities to take a retreat away from the routines of life and devote some intentional time to prayer, scripture reading and fellowship. Luke 5:16 and many other places tell us that Jesus often "withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.". Well, we want to be like Jesus, and so we will have the opportunity to go away to a cabin Friday night, all day Saturday and then come home early Sunday morning for church. These retreats will be focused on engaging God in personal prayer times as well as corporate prayer times, fasting from food and dwelling with God. The dream would be that every man of the Lord in our Faith Community could attend ONE of these retreats and connect to God through this experience.
