The Gospels are full of stories of Jesus sharing meals with disciples, friends, and even tax collectors and Pharisees. In one moment he's multiplying bread to feed a whole crowd, next he's relaxing with his inner circle, and then he's telling curious elites stories about even greater banquets. These stories culminate in "the last supper" on the night before his crucifixion; a meal he invites his followers to continue eating long after his resurrection. Join us during the season of Lent, as we explore the rich imagery and symbolism of the table -- and how it speaks to our lives today.

🤔Sermon Reflection: In Luke 14, Jesus teaches humility and challenges us to invite the marginalized. The parable of the great banquet illustrates how easily we, like the initially invited guests preoccupied with their wealth and responsibilities, can miss God's invitation. Our busyness in this wealthy nation can distract us from what truly matters to God. Just as the overlooked were welcomed into the banquet, let us recognize the Messiah and joyfully accept His invitation to His feast, a celebration we don't want to miss. 🎉🙏❤️️
