Athens I Love You

Athens I Love You® is more than just a catchy motto for us. It’s the heartbeat of Athens Church for our city; in fact, love is at the heart of what it means to be a follower of Jesus. We know actions speak louder than words; so, we want to show our love by giving, serving, and loving our city. On Sunday, October 8, we’ll be kicking off a season we’re calling Athens I Love You®. In the past you may have heard us call this Be Rich, but this year we want to show our city what it means when we say “Athens I Love You.” You’ll learn about all the opportunities for you to be part of Sunday, so don’t miss your chance to give, serve, and love our city…and invite someone to join you, too!

College Nights

During the school year, Athens Church hosts monthly gatherings on Tuesday nights exclusively for college students. These College Nights feature hang out time, worship, and teaching from the Bible, and are incredible opportunities not only for Athens Church students to meet one another and have some fun, but also to invite friends who’ve never experienced the church before. Bring a friend!
Starting Point Orientation

Starting Point is a 8-week conversational small group environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups consist of people who are curious and investigating Christianity, those who have recently started a relationship with God, or those who are reconnecting with God after being away from church for a while. For more information, plan to attend a 10-minute orientation immediately after our services in the Starting Point Lounge, which is on your left as you exit the Auditorium.

Mega Awesome Costume Party

Mega Awesome Costume Party is happening on Wednesday Oct 25th from 6-8, right here at Athens Church. This is an event for the whole family filled with games, food trucks, candy, music, and so much more. If you are new to Athens Church and have never checked your child in to one of our environments on Sunday morning please fill out the Guest Registration link to let us know you are coming to MEGA! If you attend Athens Church on a regular basis or have ever checked your child into one of our environments on a Sunday morning there is no need to fill out the form. We can't wait to see you for our most Mega Awesome Costume Party yet!
