In 1 Corinthians 13, the Apostle Paul beautifully describes love as patient, kind, and free from keeping records of wrongs. However, in today's world, where wickedness is on the rise, it can be challenging to uphold love as a priority.
Jesus taught us that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our hearts, and the second is to love our neighbors as ourselves. But often, past hurts and pains hold us back from fully embracing this commandment. We find it difficult to forgive. Forgiveness, though, is not just about the other person; it is about freeing ourselves. Scripture reveals that love prospers when faults are forgiven, but dwelling on them only separates us from those we care about.
