The Sinners
May 15, 2022 • Acts 26:12–15
Some people feel that God will never love them or use them mightily because they have lived a life of sin. Many feel untouchable because they have hurt people through self-righteous judgment that was absent of grace. Others have defied God in their rebellion, anger, and immorality. Praise The Lord for His merciful grace, as He has always been saving and using, “The Sinners.” Acts 26:12-15 James 1:19-20 Jonah 1:1-3, 3:1-3 Luke 7:36-39, 47 Additional Scripture: Acts 23:6 Proverbs 15:18 Proverbs 27:4 Exodus 32:19 Numbers 20:10-12 Isaiah 30:1

When Jesus appeared to the apostles after His resurrection, He commissioned them to accomplish the mission of the gospel. He promised they would be sent forth in the power of The Holy Spirit. He also told them that they would forgive and retain sins of people. All of this would be accomplished primarily through the preaching of the true gospel and continues to this day. Are you on this mission operating with Holy Spirit power?
Called Christians
January 2, 2022 • Acts 11:19–26
Disciples were first called Christians at Antioch. Many believe that the word “Christian” is a label to describe an ideology or set of beliefs similar to a political label. Others believe “Christian” is in reference to a culture or upbringing that has shaped a person’s life and experience. However, the only real Christians are those who have been miraculously transformed by a work of the Holy Spirit. There are several marks of a true Christian. Is your life marked by such things?
