What does it mean to adopt a people group?
September 20, 2021 • Ephesians 1
Dan Venberg, a member of Bethel's world mission team, shares what it means to adopt a people group. This was included as part of Pastor Dave's sermon on Ephesians 1:1-14. Being adopted into the family of God was one of the main points, which he tied to our commitment to adopting the Bagirmi people of Chad.
What's Ramadan? - David & Sonja
April 13, 2021
April 13 marks the start of Ramadan, the Holy Month of Islam for 2021. Missionaries David and Sonja share what it is and how we can pray. Also, will you join Christians around the world who are praying for Muslims during these 30 days? If you want to learn more about Islam and specific ways to pray, pick up one of the 30 Days of Prayer booklets at the Connection Center at either of Bethel's campuses on Sunday mornings or at the church office in Fergus Falls during the week.

Ensenada Partnership - COVID-19
August 13, 2020
Bethel is blessed by our partnership with the churches in Ensenada! It's exciting to see how God is working through their ministry during this time. Bethel's World Missions Team was able to send $11,000 to our partner churches in Ensenada, using funds from the Homes of Hope Mission Trip that was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with other donations given for this purpose. The pastors reported how the funds were used, as you will see in this video.
Ensenada Mission Trip (October 2019)
August 11, 2019
The Bethel Team met a family during our last mission trip to Ensenada, Mexico. And guess what? The plan is to build a home for that family when we return in October! The family is now connected to Pastor Ricardo's church and God is working through this partnership.
Greeting from Pastor Ricardo
May 26, 2019
We were excited to hear a greeting from Pastor Ricardo of one of our partner churches in Ensenada, Mexico. Lizbeth, who graduated from Hillcrest Academy this morning, translated for him. She is also part of Pastor Ricardo's congregation, which made this moment very sweet and beautiful. Thank you for taking some time out of graduation day to greet us and translate for us Pastor Ricardo and Lizbeth!
Update on Bagirmi School
Our missionaries decided, along with their Chadian missionary partners, that a school would benefit the community, as well as create new opportunities for ministry. A Chadian teacher has moved to the village with his family to serve as the director and primary teacher. The school opened in the fall of 2018 with a waiting list! They are in the process of calling another teacher, a building, a home for the director, and more. Thank you for your prayers and support!
