In this profound exploration of Genesis 24, we dive deep into the beautiful love story of Isaac and Rebekah, discovering timeless truths about God's providence and guidance in our lives. The central message reminds us that when we walk in faith, God leads our steps. Just as Abraham's servant was led to find the perfect bride for Isaac, we too can trust in God's perfect timing and direction. This narrative encourages us to step out in faith, knowing that as we move forward, God will illuminate our path. The sermon challenges us to align our lives with God's mission, to be confident in His ability to bring His will about, and to never settle for less than His best. As we reflect on this story, we're invited to consider how we can actively pursue God's leading in our own lives, trusting that He is orchestrating our steps for His glory and our good.

A Bride For The Son By The Servant From The Father | Gen 24:1-28

In this section of Holy Scrip we see the unnamed servant of "Father" Abraham seeking a bride for his son, Isaac. He travels far and prays for success and gets his expectations exceeded in Rebekah. In this we see a picture, a type, of the Gospel; that God the Father would send the Holy Spirit to seek a bride for his Son, Jesus Christ, and that bride is the church — you and I! So cool.

Push Toward The Promise | Gen 23

In this chapter we see Abraham pushing through the pain & grief of losing his beloved bride, Sarah, and moving toward the promise that was made by God to Abraham to inherit the land and be a blessing to the world. He acquires land to bury Sarah, which will also be the place where he is buried as well as Isaac and Jacob.
