From one generation to another he shows mercy to those who honor him." Luke 1:50 (GNT)
Every year, half of all pregnancies will end in abortion or miscarriage, impacting over two million women. Other losses include stillbirth, perinatal death, loss of parental rights, infertility, and release for adoption. Our silence may leave women and men feeling they have no right to their sorrow. By teaching and accepting the full humanity of children before birth we make room for healing to happen. The gospel resolves both grief and guilt, trauma informed care fosters growth and a sense of belonging.
This seminar will equip and encourage pastors and leaders to:
· Preach and teach a biblical pro-life apologetic
· Connect with resources for pastoral care of reproductive loss
· Create belonging trauma-informed care principles and practices
· Making church a place to remember, to mourn and to heal
