Hello Special Friend Family,

Special Friends holds respites for families of those with disabilities. Our goal is to give respite for parents while providing loads of fun for your kiddos.

How does it work?

Our fun-loving and trained team of volunteers will be ready to hang out with your special friend and any siblings for a few hours of sensory fun, snacks, lunch, a movie and so much more as we aim to give give you a few hours of respite.

-While registering, please provide as much information as possible so we can prepare for your kids unique needs.

ABOUT OUR SPECIAL FRIENDS COMMUNITY:

The Special Friends Ministry at First Christian Church is excited to invite your family into rest and connection. We hope that this respite event blesses you by allowing you a few hours to recharge while your kids are well cared for. Special Friends also provides a Sunday morning program for kids who need extra support due to disability; if you are looking for a church family, we'd love to help you set-up a visit!
