Favor is unearned and undeserved preferential treatment

- When you didn't do anything to get what you got.

- Joseph was favored by his father but did nothing to get it.

- This is God in Heaven... but because God favored you

- You will know the favor of God if you ever had a job you was not qualified for or access to things you did nothing for.

- God's favor is not fair... when he decide to favor someone its because he chose them.

- Joseph brothers hated him... even the more (dysfunctional family)

- It is amazing how we can hate in degrees

- Joseph had a part to play in it... by taunting his brothers.

- Do not allow yourself to be a victim in a problem you created!

Everybody comes from a family with some level of dysfunction.

- If you feel you do not have any dysfunction in your family... let me introduce you to the person that is part of it.

- Dysfunctional family is characterized as: by negative patterns of interactions that impairs the well being of its members.

- You know your in a dysfunction family when:

- Poor communication

- Emotional abuse

- Unresolved trauma

- Negative relational dynamics

- Repeated conflicts

- Unhealthy rivalries

- We need to break the cycles of dysfunction of our families

- If its going to happen then it needs to start with you.

- "It Ends with Me"

God's favor followed Joseph

- Favor will follow you... no matter where you go, God's favor follows you because he chose you.

You will not look like the hell you been through, because of God's favor (he will pull you out the pit... like he did Joseph).

- People will not see the struggle but the glory of God

To end they cycle of dysfunction, everyone is going to have to let go of all past traumas

- Let it Go

- Forgiveness is surrendering my right to hurt you for hurting me.

- Mature in God

Unforgiveness affects are health through multiple issues i.e. blood pressure, cholesterol, immune issues and cancer.

- unforgiveness keeps you bound to the trauma that happened in your life.

- Your stuck at the level that happened to you years ago.

It also affects you spiritually

- unforgiveness affects your spirit with God and not living what Jesus lived.

- The way you forgive is in alignment with how you are forgiven

- To walk in unforgiveness is the equivalent to drinking poison and expecting someone else to die.

- it takes maturity and dependency in God to forgive

Forgiveness is needed to get into your next season

- You can not carry that into your season, because your next season is your winning season.

- What ever your carrying is too heavy to carry it to your next season.

- Release it and Let it Go

Forgiveness is the gift that you give yourself.

- You don't forgive someone is not because your like them, but because your like you.

- Don't be a victim anymore, get your power back and let it go.

- Learn to forgive even without an apology

- If your waiting on an apology you will be incarcerated for the rest of your life.

- Forgiveness is giving someone better than what they deserve.

- You will know when you forgive someone when you can look them in the eye and thank them for the experience.

Vengeance is mines... says the Lord.

Jesus said as often as you remember... forgive

- You can forgive but it does not mean you have to trust.

- Boundaries keeps the space between your heart... God puts boundaries so you can trust him and heal.

The fact is what they did, but the impact is what you feel... only God can heal you from the impact.
