Fight Like A Christian: Overcoming Conflict

A Workshop with Lisa Hancock

October 31, 2026
9:00am - 12:00pm

Conflict is inevitable. Division doesn’t have to be.

In a time when disagreement can quickly become anxiety, frustration, or distance, how can we learn to engage conflict differently? Join Lisa Hancock for a practical and engaging workshop on conflict, relationships, and what it means to navigate disagreement as people of faith.

Together, we’ll explore why conflict is about more than simply being “right” or “wrong,” how our own experiences shape the way we see disagreement, and what might be happening beneath the surface of the positions we take. We’ll also learn practical tools for engaging conflict in healthy and constructive ways.

Grounded in our faith and the example of Jesus, this workshop invites us to consider not just whether we encounter conflict, but how we do conflict—especially with people who see the world differently than we do.

Come ready to learn, listen, reflect, and practice new ways of navigating conflict without losing sight of relationship. This workshop is a starting point for learning how we can become a community that doesn’t avoid conflict or let it divide us, but learns how to engage it with courage, curiosity, and grace.
