The annual Great Outdoors Men’s Event is an outreach ministry of First Baptist Church, Groesbeck to encourage men in their relationships with the Lord. We want to help them grow as men, husbands, fathers, and community leaders. It’s aimed at men from 7th grade to adult. Event includes fish fry dinner, hunting/fishing displays, guest speaker, and thousands of dollars in giveaways (gift cards, hunting/fishing gear, guided trips, and more!). A Grand Prize will be given away that includes:

Special Guest: Big Billy Kinder

Our guest speaker is Billy Kinder, host of the nationally broadcast show Big Billy Kinder Outdoors on Sirius XM Satellite Radio as well as local stations across the country. A native Texan, Billy grew up hunting and fishing. His favorite is quail hunting with his champion dog Bear. A career in radio has allowed him to share his passion for the great outdoors.

Billy is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loves his community and was recognized by the State of Texas for his “Kinder Kids” radio program, which encouraged families to foster and adopt children who suffered abuse and neglect.
