The Difficult Path to Life

While the world and many of our desires call to us to avoid suffering, Jesus reminds us that the path to true life involves death. While in one sense, each of us will experience the death of our physical bodies, Jesus also calls us to follow him and choose to die daily to self to find true life. We can because he did! If we refuse to accept the call, holding on to what we feel is best, Jesus warns us that our lives will be lost. Will we follow him?
