MIX is a four-day summer event built for middle schoolers and designed to strengthen their faith. The gospel is clearly communicated and students are challenged to live for Christ as Kingdom Workers. We also have loads of fun and do some awesome relationship building! We are so excited to bring 5th-8th graders to this amazing conference!

Transportation: We carpool to and from CIY. We will be staying on the campus of Hope College and are in need of parents to drive us to and/or pick us up from a to-be-determined location on campus. We have 40 people going this year! Which means a lot of seats are needed and space for luggage. If you are able to drive us there Sunday afternoon or come pick us up Thursday morning, please reach out to Kaase! Thank you in advance!
We will be leaving after 2nd Service on July 27nd. Check-in will begin at 12:45pm and we will load up the cars at 1:15pm. Please eat lunch or send your student with food as our first meal at CIY will be dinner. Come to the South AC and expect the following:
Check in with a leader at the main table and make sure all necessary forms are taken care of.
Check any medications in with our leaders who will be taking care of it (at the check-in table) and make sure they understand what your students needs (prescriptions, Tylenol, Benadryl, etc.)
Label any fans or luggage to make sure your students things stay with them.
Pack your student's luggage into a carpooling vehicle and then wait in the AC for us to depart (if you are not driving us there, you may leave at this time if you wish)
We will return to church between 9am and 10am on Thursday, July 31st. If you are driving us home, please be to campus by 8:30am so we can load up! (please reach out to Kaase if you are able to do this) When we get back to church, we will unload the cars and have a light breakfast snack before saying goodbye and going home to take a LONG nap!
Meals or other Services provided: Meals are provided for the entire week.
What should attenders bring?: Essential Things To Remember:
- A PHYSICAL Bible, Notebook & Pen (we will encourage students to leave their phones in their backpacks while we are in session)
- Water Bottle (bigger but manageable to carry around all day)
- A fan (a box fan is best)
- Some kind of extension cord/surge protector if possible
Recommended Packing List:
Clothes for 5 Days (some extra in case of sweat/getting wet)
Comfortable Shoes for Walking, Running, and Getting Wet (Possibly)
Extra Spending Money (Optional - LARGE 'Merch’ Store, downtown Holland)
Toiletries (Ex. Toothbrush, Deodorant, Bath Towel, Soap)
Appropriate Swimwear & Towel
Sun Protection (Sunglasses, Sunscreen, Hat)
Drawstring Bag (Can bring into the Field House)
Bedding (Twin XL)
Sweatshirt (Just in case - Field House can gets chilly)
Snacks for their dorm room
What NOT To Bring:
Electronics except a phone (Ex. Switch, TV, iPads, etc…)
Weapons of Any Kind (Including Pocket Knives)
Drugs of Any Kind.
Non-Wellspring Friends are welcome to come to come too!

We have a few scholarship options available, please reach out to Kaase for more information. If you would like to contribute to another student being able attend this trip, please reach out as well. If you have already registered and would like to participate in either of the above options, that could still be for you.
