Bruce P. Baugus is Associate Professor of Philosophy and Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi, where he has taught courses in systematic theology, philosophical theology, ethics, and apologetics since 2008. He is the author of Reformed Moral Theology (forthcoming) and China’s Reforming Churches: Mission, Polity, and Ministry in the Next Christendom (editor, both by Reformation Heritage Books), as well as numerous chapters, articles, papers, and reviews. He also frequently contributes to popular outlets like http://reformation21.org and Tabletalk. A teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Bruce has served on the General Assembly’s theological examining committee, is a past moderator of the Presbytery of Mississippi Valley, and past chair of that body’s Credentials Committee. He is currently serving Trinity Presbyterian Church, part time, as their interim senior pastor. and sits on the board of two institutions involved in the global development of Reformed theological education and regularly teaches overseas and around the country. Born in Easton, Maryland, Bruce holds degrees from Penn State (BS in geography, 1996), Southern Seminary (MDiv, 1999), and Calvin Theological Seminary (Ph.D., philosophical theology, 2009). He is married to Tricia and they have two sons.

Mike Hillerman is an adjunct professor of Counseling and the Program Development Coordinator for the MAC department. He holds an MA in Marriage & Family Therapy and Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and a BS from the University of West Florida, graduating with honors from both institutions. Mr. Hillerman is currently a doctoral student at Mississippi State University pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling/Mental Health Counseling. He is also a private practice counselor and co-founded Hopewell Counseling. Mike is an approved supervisor with the MS Board of Counselors, and is a past secretary with the Mississippi Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. He is a long time adult Sunday School leader at his church, volunteer high school basketball coach, and board member of the Jackson area homeschool competitive sports organization. In 2006 he left a 15-year career in software development to pursue a calling to become a professional counselor. Mike and his wife Cristy have been married since 1993 and have four children.

We welcome to Grace Chapel Dr. Elias Medeiros. Dr. Medeiros has been an ordained minister of the Gospel since January 1975. While in Brazil he worked in pioneer church planting in the Amazon region and in Recife (rural and urban). He is a member of the Lausanne Global Diaspora Network Advisory Board and of the Brazilian Evangelical Diaspora movement. In addition to many articles and essays he has written Teaching Them and Making Disciples of All Nations (Dmin), Missiology as an Academic Discipline in Theological Education (D. Miss) and The Reformers' Commitment to the Propagation of the Gospel to all Nations from 1555 to 1654 (PHD).

Charlie Wingard serves as Professor of Pastoral Theology and Dean of Students. Prior to joining the RTS Jackson faculty in 2014, he spent 28 years as an ordained pastor in the PCA and OPC, serving congregations in North Carolina, Massachusetts, and Alabama. He received his B.A. in political science from the University of the South (1980), his MDiv from Vanderbilt Divinity School (1984), and his D.Min. from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (1992). Since February 2016, Charlie also serves as Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Charlie and his wife, Lynne, love the ministry of hospitality and consider it an essential component of pastoral care in both church and seminary.

This week in chapel we will enjoy the ministry of the God's Word from Mr. Paul Hurst. Paul Hurst is a lawyer in Jackson, MS. He is married to his wife, Fair, and the two of them have three daughters. Paul serves as an elder at First Presbyterian Church Jackson. He also is a member of the RTS Board of Trustees.
