We can be free from the sin and bondage of this world. But it will never be a work of the flesh. The flesh will always be at war with the Spirit. That’s why so many things often fail. Counseling (if not biblical) strategies, plans: weight loss programs often fail. The flesh is willing for a time. But it is the supernatural work of the Lord that causes us to refrain from fleshly desires.
It is and will always be the blood that set us free. Laws and plans are still works of the flesh.
