Guest speaker Bio:
Dan Kreft, the Seven-Foot Apologist https://sevenfootapologist.com/, is a cross-generational teacher, itinerant speaker, and author of the three-volume book, “Jesus” Is Not the Answer to Every Sunday School Question. In addition to his own ministry, he is also on the speaking team for Striving for Eternity.
Dan earned a BS in electrical engineering from Northwestern University, where he gained notoriety by becoming the first NCAA Division I student-athlete to keep what would later come to be known as a "blog," which earned him an invitation to write for Sports Illustrated. After graduating, he played professional basketball for three years in Europe and in the United States, and survived a rather memorable (and frightening) afternoon blocking dunk attempts by Shaquille O'Neal. Although he's been developing websites professionally since 1995, Dan’s passion is to equip and encourage the body of Christ to confidently deliver biblical responses to skeptical assaults on our faith, with a particular emphasis on the sufficiency and authority of Scripture, starting with the very first verse.
What to expect:
We kick things off Friday evening, September 25th Check in is at 4pm. Dinner is at 5:30 (dinner’s on us), and wrap up Sunday morning, September 27th, after a solid brunch. Want more time in the mountains? Come early or hang back after camp to soak up God’s creation.
Heads-up: Paintball and rafting are happening at the same time—you’ll need to choose one.
