The Early Church prayed for Jesus to stretch forth His hand to heal and that miracles could be done through His name. The result was a great display of signs, wonders, and miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit. The anointing was so powerful that multitudes were healed of sickness and demonic torment as they came within the very shadow of Peter. Multitudes were added to the church. God has not changed His way of working!
