I. Experience Pain in Childbirth

II. Exert Power in Marriage

B. Adam’s consequences

I. Difficulty in his work

II. Death in his future

2. God Provides the Covering (vs. 20-24)

Two views on gender-roles:

1. Egalitarianism claims men and women are equal, therefore there are no gender-based role distinctions because Christ overcame the curse.

2. Complementarians claim that men and women are equal, however God has established gender-based role distinctions in creation.
