If we are to grow as Christians, it’s because we are engaging in a community where we are truly known, loved, and challenged. This week, Brian Barr continued our Connect series, emphasizing that the community of Jesus is essential for our growth as disciples. By looking at how Jesus engaged with His disciples, we learn that He 1) truly knew them, 2) loved them through deep relationships, and 3) created an environment of challenge that brought about change in their lives. Following this pattern, with Jesus at the center of our community, provides the context for true transformation in our lives.
