Ladies!! Join us March 1-3, 2024 at Mount Hermon Conference Center in Santa Cruz with women from our conference churches in Fremont, San Lorenzo, Santa Clara, and Walnut Creek. Our theme is PURPOSED. We don't need to find our purpose in life - we are already a purposed people! We are created by God to bring Him Glory. How then should we honor Him in how we prioritize our time and attention, and how do we encourage one another in this? This will be a time of refreshment, away from the usual scene, to worship, hear His Word, connect with God, connect with others. The main sessions will be in English. Depending on who registers, there may be small group discussions in Japanese. We do not want finances to be a reason why you don't attend. If you have a need, please reach out to your pastor. That contagious laugh and zeal for life has helped her husband find her in many a crowd. Together, Randy and Jill have raised three children, Ian, Micah, and Kaiya. While homeschooling has stripped her of all false assumptions of greatness, it gave the whole family a chance to discover God’s Greatness. As if taking on the responsibility of educating the kids wasn’t refining enough, God did not hold back the trials of many kinds (James 1:2-4), the wasting of the outer self (2 Cor. 4:16), or the promised tribulation (John 16:33). Behind the smiles and laughter is a journey with degenerative disease, heart failure, brain tumor, kidney failure, and grief. Her Joy is not a Polly Anna Joy, but one refined by the love of Jesus and power of His living word. She has found a true Joy for the Journey that she loves to pass on one heartbeat at a time.
