As students get older, they will have chances to travel further and for a longer period of time on a mission trip, but for now, this is a GREAT experience for them to get out of their comfort zone, serve with their friends from the Ridge, and become the body of Christ. We will do some hard labor working in some downtown Des Moines neighborhoods. We might work at a food pantry or a clothes distribution center. Or we will serve some meals to those in need. We want to show God’s love by caring for people and helping them. We will stay at a church in the Des Moines area, and one evening there will be recreation. Final details and packing lists will be sent out as we get closer to the mission trip dates.

We will have a “YES ATTITUDE”. This means we will do WHATEVER the ministry site asks of us. We want to serve them so they can better serve their community.
