December 18, 2022 • Ben Potloff • Isaiah 9:1–7

Isaiah 9:1-7 | Ben Potloff | "The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light; those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone." In the Advent season, we consider the hope with which Israel looked forward to the coming of the Savior, and our hope in the Savior's second coming is renewed. Forever Home

December 11, 2022 • Ben Potloff • 2 Samuel 7:1–17

2 Samuel 7:1-17 | Ben Potloff | "Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and said, 'Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?'" God's covenant with David is a critical moment in the Bible plot. This covenant sets the trajectory for one to come from the line of David and reign eternally on the throne. Who will this coming king be? What will he do as he established his kingdom?
