Ladies, join us as guest speaker, Donna Carlson, shares her story 'God Has Enough!'
Have you ever asked, "Does God really know what I am going through? Does he want what is best for me? When is he going to do something? How loud do his whispers need to be for me to hear?"
Come for encouragement, nourishment, & fellowship!
Donna received Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord when she was seven years old as her mother shared Jesus with her during a Kansas tornado. She had the blessing of growing up in a committed Christian home where her entire family was very involved in their local church.
Donna graduated from Grace University, Omaha, Nebraska, with a Bachelor’s degree in Religious/Christian Education and Music.
Donna is retired from her position as an Ambassador/Trainer of Cultural Development for Chick-fil-A. She has been an editor, women’s Bible study leader/teacher, administrator and enjoys mentoring young women. She and her husband moved back to the Omaha area (home, in a sense), having lived in Chicagoland for nearly 20 years.
She has taught the Walk Thru the Bible Kids in the Book since 1996 at churches, Christian schools, summer camps, retreats and VBS's; International Schools in China and Army Base facilities including one in South Korea. Kids are involved with costumes and props as this former drama coach and music teacher of 20 years tells the Bible stories.
Next to her relationship with the Lord, her highest priority is her family. She has been a wife to Greg for 50 years and they are the parents of three adult sons and as of Oct. 29, 2022—a new grandmother to 2 grandsons.
Some of her biggest risks were bungee jumping and skydiving for significant birthday celebrations. Within the past 5 years she went hiking on a glacier in Alaska. In her free time, Donna enjoys reading, being a spectator to all sports and attending drama productions.
