True Love Conference

February 14, 5:15pm - February 15, 2025 3:00pm

Most young Christians know that God is love, but how does that translate to everyday relationships for teenagers today? Cultural and secular definitions of love and relationships have dominated the lifestyles and desires of today’s generation breeding chaos, confusion, and brokenness. Instead of just accepting this damaging standard, let’s equip this generation of disciples with God’s unchanging definition of love that is guaranteed to provide fulfillment, purpose, and ultimately lead to His glory.

The True Love Conference will establish the Christ centered biblical definitions of love from scripture and primarily through the character and nature of God. We will touch on every aspect of love from romantic relationships to friendships, and most importantly, godly love. We will then contrast those by the world’s definition of love and friendships. That would include dating, boyfriend/girlfriend, and being able to navigate their natural emotions and desires to line them up with God’s will. The strategies of Satan that have been made normal in today’s cultural that damage our souls and are outside of God’s will be exposed for the students, along with inauthentic friendships that are superficial. Technology and the feeling of wanting to belong will be addressed as well.

Questions that will biblically be answered:

·         Is it biblical to date around by having multiple boyfriends/girlfriends?

·         What does purity really look like today?

·         How do I find biblical Christ centered friendship?

·         If God is love, why do I feel unseen and alone so much?

·         What does waiting until marriage really look like?

·         What does God want me to do with my emotions and feelings while I wait?

There will be three main sessions, age-based break outs and small groups, student led role plays, practical application, Christ centered personal worship, and a live Q&A panel. Snacks and lunch will be served on Saturday. This is a conference that you don’t want your student to miss!
