Previously Journey Generations Gala Generations Ministry is hosting its third annual evening to benefit Journey's youth taking a step toward faith, friendship and fun! Let's get together for an evening of delicious food and drinks, dancing and lots of fun as we raise the funds needed to say YES to every elementary through high school kid in need of a camp scholarship.
How do we sort through all the rhetoric swirling around us regarding the body, sex, and relationships in a way that enables us to live in our world with grace and truth? This 3 week workshop will provide insights and resources to parents and grandparents of all ages as well as others seeking ways to communicate God's design for sexuality. For those of you with kids 9th grade and older, please know that your son or daughter may attend with you. Please join us in the Center Room at 9:00am.
Join us Sundays, February - March 15 in the Plaza Room at 9am for a six-session series uncovering the relationships, experiences and practices that move us into community and toward Jesus on our Journey Pathway.

We’re excited to invite students in 5th, 6th, 8th and 9th grade to our upcoming Smooth Transitions Movie Night—a special evening designed to help students feel confident and excited about their next step before Upgrade Weekend. This night gives 5th graders the chance to meet 6th graders and 8th graders the chance to connect with 9th graders in a relaxed, fun environment. Through games, conversation, and a movie together, students can build friendships, explore their next space, and step into the transition feeling supported rather than nervous. Our prayer is that every student walks into Upgrade Weekend feeling known, connected, and excited for what God has ahead. We would love for your student to be part of this meaningful night. Please let us know if you have any questions—we can’t wait to see them there! Location: Riptide Room at Journey Community Church

The Witness Practice presents a picture of evangelism that may be different from what people assume. It's invitational and hospitable, rather than impersonal; patient and curious, rather than pushy. It's about being authentic and genuine about who you are and what's important to you. And it involves recognizing that God is already at work in the lives of people around us, and we simply are invited to join him. Join us in the Center Room at 9am.
We hope you’ll join us more often and that perhaps you can make Journey as much your place as it is ours. In fact, the best way to begin that process is by attending First Step. First Step is an introduction to Journey and will give you an overview of who we are. It’s normally held on the first Sunday of every month in the Plaza Room at 12:30 pm. We’ll introduce you to the DNA of Journey, our core values, our take on what it looks like to do life with Jesus and give you more information about next steps to getting more connected here. You’ll also get a chance to meet some of our pastoral team and others from Journey.
