Every Friday evening, people of all ages gather to make 600 meal-sacks and then we deliver them. Meet in the Encounter Room. Are you 62 or older? If so, we’d like to make it a little easier for you to visit the Journey Food Bank. Rather than having to wait in 100+ person lines, we’ll be open to you on the 4th Friday of each month at 10am. Drop by and see us! Instructions: Our distributions are drive-through service. Please arrive no earlier than 1.5 hours before posted distribution times. Please remain in your car and follow directives from the Food Bank personnel. We will provide pre-packed bags. Remember to arrive on time. :)
We are hosting another Blood Drive at Journey! In the past 23 years, Journey has hosted 76 blood drives that have touched the lives of over 5,740 people! We love that! The San Diego Blood Mobile will be in the Journey parking lot from 8am – 1:30pm. You can make a huge difference in someone's life and you'll also get a free donut in Plaza Cafe. Make an appointment online to donate or walk-up appointments will also be available at the bus. *Show proof of your donor appointment in Plaza Cafe for a free donut. Same day only. Plaza Cafe closes at 11:30am, we recommend claiming your donut before your appointment time. (Currently all blood types are in short supply)
