Jesus says in Matthew 5:16 ” In the same way, let your light shine in front of others. Then they will see the good things you do. And they will praise your Father who is in heaven.” Light Up The Night is an event intended for us to be the city on a hill that Jesus talks about in the book of Matthew. The theme of the night comes from Jesus referring to Himself as the light in John 9:5. He says, “While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” We understand that kids want to dress up and have a good time on October 31st, and Fellowship Bible Church wants to encourage that! We invite you to be a light in your community this Halloween opening up your yard (or partnering with another family) to provide a fun, safe, and inviting place for your community to enjoy. Halloween is portrayed as a dark holiday, but you have an opportunity to light it up in your community on Saturday, October 31st. Need some inspiration or supplies?
