When Paul writes in Ephesians 6 about standing it's because we are in the middle of a spiritual war. We didn't ask for it, but we are in it. The devil is after the soul of your life, but so is God. Therefore, it's important that we look at Romans 5:1-5 and learn from the progression of survival (suffering) to stability (perseverance) to prosperity (character & hope). We stand in grace, and in doing so, we rejoice in life, knowing that we are hope carriers. When Paul writes in Ephesians 6 about standing it's because we are in the middle of a spiritual war. December 4, 2016 • Pastor Lance Bane
Standing with the character of Jesus and in the power of Jesus is developed as you listen to the words of Jesus and put them into practice. Jesus concluded his sermon on the mount (Matthew 5-7) with a story about a wise and foolish builder. One home stood tall for the long haul and one did not. Enjoy this message by Pastor Lance as he answers 3 questions, helping us learn how to "Stand Tall for the Long Haul."
