Bob concludes the Promised Land series by telling the story of Abraham and his son, Isaac. God calls Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, someone who he loves dearly. Abraham is willing because he recognized that God is his first love. Similarly, God calls us to sacrifice idols in our lives that we tend to prioritize over Him.

This week in Promised Land, Bob asks us to remember that God has a totally worth lviing future for each of us. Sometimes that future, and the things we are waiting for, seem like they take forever, but God has a huge purpose in that waiting period. God is relentless, but He is never in a hurry.
