This is a short guided prayer led by Corbin Campus Pastor Brett Martin to help you spend some time with God in prayer.
If you’re wondering, ”How should I pray?” the P.R.A.Y. acronym lays it out for you.
Praise – Spend time praising God for who He is and thank him for all that he's done for you.
Repent – Confess and repent of sin. God already knows about it, but He tells us to confess it.
Ask – Ask God to move in your life and the lives of others. This can be in big ways and small ways.
Yield – Take some time to stop and listen to God and what He's calling you to do. Be obedient to whatever that is.
Pastor Brett guides you through the P.R.A.Y. method and invites you to spend time praying through each letter of the acronym as you go.
Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
