During the Question part of the talk, Debbie answered a set of questions, including how can we reflect God’s love in all services that we do despite their different nature, such as kitchen service & Sunday school service? ; Who should I serve first in my service? ; and other questions!
“If you serve in this world, you’re surrounded by wolves” (Debbie Armanious) Debbie addressed this topic from her experience of serving at Exodus. She explained what it means to be wise like serpents and humble like doves, the hardships servants go through, and what characteristics servants should have. She advised, “Do not fear. Shepherds will go anywhere to get their flock… That sheep is everything” She also shared amazing, touching stories of how the Lord has changed lives miraculously.
"Servants of God do not have a desire for gain. For a servant of the Lord, their gain is the Lord Himself" (Fr Yacoub Magdy) Tune in to Fr Yacoub's talk as he explains how our desire should be to gain Christ Himself, referring to some fascinating stories of holy people in our modern world. He also describes how dignity differs from gaining, revealing how we should be humble before the Lord and others without losing our dignity.
