Refiner's Fire Before Revival Fire

Malachi 1-3

January 23, 2024 • Jeff Lyle • Malachi 1—3

There is a large, hungry group of Christians who are convinced in the Spirit that God fully intends to release unprecedented revival across the globe before the return of Christ. These zealots are people of prayer, fasting, consecration, witness and Kingdom love. Many who have joined themselves to movements which are led by these believers are also zealous for revival fire. What many of these latecomers do not realize is that the refining fire from God must precede the revival fire from God. There must be a cleansing before there can be a combustion. There must be purifying flame before there comes a power-flame. The ancient Book of Malachi helps us understand what this process looks like so we can be prepared to steward the refiner’s fire as we contend for the revival fire.

The Silence of God

May 28, 2024 • Jeff Lyle

One of the greatest challenges for believers occurs when we find ourselves in a season where we cannot hear God’s voice. We read His written Word, and we know He speaks there, but Jesus did not merely say we would have His book. He said that His sheep would hear His voice. We pray and it seems that God does not respond. We plead for answers and they do not come. We feel we have endured and waited long enough but Heaven’s silence causes or despair. We begin to believe that nobody else has ever gone through the silence of God and made it out whole. What is the Christian to do in seasons of God’s silence? Today’s podcast will help us see that this experience is common among Christians and that there a few simple instructions available to us when we are waiting for God to speak.

The God of Overflow

May 21, 2024 • Jeff Lyle • Jeremiah 29:11–14

Theology is essential but theology is not enough on its own. God created man for the purpose of interactive experience with Himself. He is a glorious being who delights in pouring out His goodness into the lives of His people. For some reason, many in the Church are reluctant not only to believe this, butter also reluctant to live and pursue this truth. Is it spiritual to not pursue God's blessing? Are people who live with a poverty spirit somehow more mature than those who desire all that God may have for them? This Truth Shot dares the listener to first recognize that God is a rewarder of those who seek Him, and then to pursue Him as their foremost priority. Those who do so are in position to experience the blessings of the Father through the fullness of the Spirit. Theology teaches us that God is good. Personal pursuit of Him teaches us that God is good TO US.

The Forerunner's Fire

May 14, 2024 • Jeff Lyle • John 1:29–36

John the Baptizer appeared out of nowhere to break a 400 year long prophetic silence in Israel. God used John to shake a nation out of spiritual slumber so that they would be awake when Jesus the Messiah came behind John. The messaging of the Baptizer is similar to what Holy Spirit is releasing today in the Church. Messengers are being called and dispatched to prepare this generation for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in a manner similar to how John prepared his audience for the first coming of Jesus. Prepare for messengers with direct hits, zero polish, and intense calls for hearts to bow in holy faith and submission to the coming King.
