The ongoing response toward God of every Christian is that of perpetual surrender. Trust always encompasses a yielding of ourselves to the character and promises of God. Spiritual intimacy, holy power, inner-peace, godly confidence and relational wholeness all proceed from a heart that is postured in surrender toward God. Christians should take a white-flag with them wherever they go.

We can only consider that we have might have engaged in spiritual maturity, when we can discern that we have begun living generously. We are pipes, not bowls – God intends to pour into us so that He might pour through us into others. Perhaps in no other area of the faith are we challenged more than in this area of our generous giving. We must understand the joy which God attaches to generosity.
