Some people fear God’s presence, Adam and Eve’s sinfulness drove them to hide from God. God’s holiness cast light on Isaiah the prophet’s sinfulness and he asked for help. Some folks tried to run from God’s presence. Fear and trembling are appropriate responses but God invites us to come in Jesus’ name. God’s promise is that His presence will provide comfort (Joshua 1:5) and with Him we will receive strength and encouragement.
