Love & Honor

Honoring the Body of Christ

March 20, 2016 • Robert Theodore

As we approach the Easter season, we are reminded of the Jesus redemptive work for us. Jesus not only died for us individually. Jesus died for the body of Christ, of which we are a part. Honor Self

At first, the concept of honoring ourselves may seem a bit strange. Isn’t it arrogant and prideful to see yourself as weighty? It is true that God doesn’t want us to be prideful and think of ourselves more highly than we should. However, it is just as prideful to think of ourselves less than what God thinks of us. When we have a low view of ourselves, it becomes difficult to honor others. Many people disrespectful and disregard others because they still wrestle with their own self-esteem and sense of identity.
