The Lizard

We often take risks when we should play it safe and play it safe when we should take risks. Though the lizard can be easily grasped, it roames the king’s palace freely and usually without getting caught.

The Locust

Though the locusts have no commander, they are able to move forward with precision. They can devastate miles of crops, not deviate from their path, and be an unstoppable force without a commander. With limited resources, we can accomplish much when we are self-motivated yet team-oriented.

The Shephanim

The shephanim is not strong in defending itself, so they live in crags that give them natural safety. We can be more successful by recognizing our limitations and finding our refuge in Jesus Christ. We shouldn’t take risks when it is wiser to play it safe.

The Ant

The ant is not strong in comparison to other animals. Yet, it gains its advantage by preparing its food for the future. We may have limitations, but we can maximize our resources when we have vision.

Small Creatures

There are four creatures that are small, but exceedingly wise. Sometimes, we feel small as we face the realities of being limited, below average, young, unimportant, and insignificant. Yet, God demonstrated to the disciples that He can take the little that we have and multiply it to become much; beyond what we can ask or imagination.
