We may choose to separate ourselves from others simply out of lack of desire. Meanwhile, Satan desires to destroy us. We must be willing to set aside our differences, opinions, petty disagreements, and sloth, and band together in community.

There are three cravings of the soul: intimacy, significance, and meaning. Whenever we seek to find satisfy our soul cravings outside of Christ, we can be left feeling empty and disillusioned. Jesus wants his followers to realize that our true identity is in Him. He makes us complete. When we lived based on our identity in Christ, we discover true fulfillment.
