The Bible provides three critical truths that invite us to pursue assurance of salvation with great confidence:
(1) The God-Given Privilege of Assurance
Saved People Can Lack Assurance of Salvation
You Can Be Assured of Your Salvation
You Are Commanded to Be Assured of Your Salvation
(2) The Scriptural Basis for Assurance
Assurance is Grounded in God’s Character
Assurance is Grounded in Christ’s Atonement
Assurance is Grounded in Scripture’s Promises
(3) The Surefire Means of Gaining Assurance
Ground Your Assurance in the Truth, Not In Feelings
Verify Your Assurance with Evidence, Not Presumption
Repent Of All That Erodes Your Assurance
“Can I Be Sure That I Am Saved?”
