EASTER SUNDAY

This weekend is The Weekend for us as Jesus-followers as we follow Jesus to his death - execution on the cross at the hands of Empire - and on into resurrection. We know this Easter story well, and yet, for this moment in which we live, how do we make sense of the suffering in our lives and our world? There is hope and joy to be received here, especially now! PALM SUNDAY

In the week ahead, Jesus will put our origin story of Original Blessing to the test, and into action as he makes his way to the cross and the empty tomb beyond it. It begins with Palm Sunday as we join the crowds in Jerusalem by waving our own palm branches and daring to hope in this Jesus, as we hear a sermon from ELCA Bishop Shelley Bryan Wee.
