YOU'RE INVITED! Jesus loved to gather people together - to eat, to celebrate, to connect at the table. The table became an image for what the Kingdom of God is like. That, something so good and sacred happens! This Sunday, in our summer series of Jesus' Parables, Pastor Sara leads us into two parables about feasts - where you'll be surprised to see who is invited to the table! THE GOOD SAMARITAN

The Good Samaritan is a parable so ingrained in our societal imagination. This classic tale is a pithy and sweet story of the importance of helping others. But is there more to it? This story challenges us to ask "Who is my neighbor?" The answer to that just might change how we see the Kingdom of God. This Sunday, our exploration of the Parables continues with a special sermon from Rev. Rachel Eskesen (ELCA Area Desk Director for Europe) and Rev. Zach Courter (Associate in Ministry). They'll take us through the parable of Old and New Wine Skins, and give us an update on their ministry in Eastern Europe, especially their work involving relief for the war in Ukraine.

We are spending our summer at Salt House listening to the master storyteller, Jesus, and his Parables.
