Jesus Washes Feet

February 18, 2024 • Sara Wolbrecht • John 13

This Lenten Season, we are continuing our sermon series through John as we pivot from the first half (called The Book of Signs) to the second half (called The Book of Glory.) In this first half of the series we looked at questions like "What is life?" "What is belief?" "Who is Jesus?" In this second half, we'll continue with these questions, but some new ones will emerge too: "What is glory?" "What is love?" "How do we love one another?" This Sunday, Pastor Sara, will kick us off on this new Lenten journey!

I Have Seen The Lord

May 5, 2024 • Ryan Marsh

Last Sunday we finished the Gospel of John. But what happened next? We spent 4 months learning from this text and the Johannine community that helped create it. What happened to them? How did their faith evolve? How does this story continue? Pastor Ryan will show us how John's theology evolved and grew over the generations and what it has to say to us today. Join us!

THE END (of John)

April 28, 2024 • Sara Wolbrecht • John 21:20–25

All this has been written! We've been in the gospel of John for 4 months! We saw Jesus have conversations, preform signs, speak of life and love, lay down his life, and ultimately rise again. This Sunday is our LAST Sunday in the Gospel of John. Pastor Sara will bring it all home and we talk about what this gospel has taught us and how we live differently because of who John reveals Jesus is.

Do You Love Me?

April 21, 2024 • Rachel Horton • John 21:15–19

Do you love me? It’s not just an awesome 1960’s tune. It’s the question Jesus asked Simon Peter three times. Three! This week, we’ll explore that moment in John’s gospel and try to find the answer for ourselves with Rachel Horton preaching. Good times.
