This Sunday we'll open up scripture and tend to the layers of grief and difficult emotion that have built up over the last 22 months, and find practical ways to be emotionally intelligent and present through the festive weeks to come.

Every culture and every person deals with the reality of death differently. One hidden gem in the Christian tradition is the celebration called All Saints, which gives us a container for our grief and gratitude and a vision for continued connection to our dearly departed.

This fall we’ve been exploring ways to hear from God in our lives. This Sunday, Intern Pastor Zach (in his first Salt House sermon!) considers how simple moments in our daily lives—such as eating chocolate—can be spiritual practices to help us to reflect on what God is saying to us.
