The Corinthians didn't seem to be able to have the Lord's supper properly. Paul said their communion service "did more harm than good." They failed to recognise the Body of Christ, which was each other, their fellow believers. There are so many different perspectives on how to have the Lord's supper that it is rare for Christians to come together around the Lord's table.
