Every year in November we like take a Sunday to celebrate missions. This year we focused on 'Partnerships in the Gospel,' and we got to look at who we are partnering with in the New River Valley and across the ocean. John Upton, executive director of the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV) and the Virginia Baptist Mission Board (VBMB), leads us on this special Sunday, and speaks about being fishers of men.

Ruth: A Proverbs 31 Woman
May 12, 2024 • Matt Simpson • Proverbs 31:10–31
Motherhood can simultaneously be one of life's greatest joys and also at times really...tough. The expectations on mothers, both internal and external, can feel overwhelming. On Mother's Day, we take a look at the true nature of a "Proverbs 31 woman," and the connections we see between Proverbs 31 and an unexpected character from the Old Testament - Ruth! Both mothers and would-be mothers can find hope in the identity that has been given by God to all followers of Christ.
Baptism: Newness of Life
