It is no small thing for a person to bow down and bend before the living God. When we pray, we come into His presence; we encounter Him. He is the One on the other side of our prayers. Pursuing a life of prayer takes understanding and action.

We tried telling ourselves our marriage was fine (when we were not), then we tried to hide it when we were not fine (fix it on our own), but maybe now is the time to talk about not being fine and face some long-term disappointments in marriage - together. First, we’ll get into what the gospel communicates to our marriage like nothing else can - forgiveness, grace, second chances, and hope all have their best power in the gospel of Jesus. Second, we’ll make big choices based on Jesus’ teaching that the two are already one, and therefore set the boundaries that keep us one.
