I AM WHAT I AM Week 1

We will always behave on the outside in a manner consistent with the picture we have of ourselves on the inside…. Two core sets of beliefs - Who we think we are (self-concept) and Who we think we ‘should’ be (Self-ideal) evolve from what we hear, see and experience as children. We do not knowingly choose the self-images, which are the foundation for Self-worth, and Self-Determination, these views of “Self” aid or impede the power to make free and healthy choices.

If you don’t know who you are, then you’re vulnerable to other people telling you who you are. But the concrete, solid, gospel truth is that you are who God says you are, and no one else has a vote in the matter.

You need to abandon any self-image of yourself that is not from God. Stop accepting what others have said about you, how others have labeled you, and how others have defined you. Start believing what God says about you, that He is pleased with how He created you, and that God defines you.

When You Know Yourself You are Empowered. When You Accept Yourself You are Invincible… FIRST Know Yourself. Then you will begin to Understand WHY things are as they are, and WHY Life is as it is…
