Being Thankful

November 19, 2023 • D. Kevin Brown • Luke 19:11–27

Thanksgiving is upon us. But are we thankful? It’s easy to live life begrudging what we don’t have, versus being thankful for what we do have. Jesus healed ten lepers, but only one returned to offer thanks. Join us as we see why we should be thankful and how we can truly celebrate “Thanksgiving” as we should.

Thankful to God

November 20, 2022 • D. Kevin Brown • 2 Chronicles 20

There is great debate about the founding of our nation, but there shouldn’t be. The progressive liberals of our day have hijacked our founding with a revisionist history, because they despise Christianity. When we give “thanks” in our country we give thanks to God, not Buddha, Confucius or Allah. Without question, our nation was founded on Biblical principles and we’ll see that definitively now as we talk about why we are to be: “Thankful to God."

Having a Thankful Heart

November 21, 2021 • D. Kevin Brown • Luke 17:11–19

Are you a thankful person? It’s easy to think that we are, but are we? It’s much easier to complain, isn’t it? Yet, we are to “give thanks” in all seasons of life. Why? Because everything is perfect? Hardly! No, we give thanks because no matter what, God has been good to us and is faithful to us. We’re going to see why out of a group of 10 men who were healed by Jesus, only one came back to offer thanks. We’ll see the blessing of “Having a Thankful Heart.”
